The Hebrew words you need at the nail salon
לק ג'ל (lak gel) — gel polish
Gel colour cured under a lamp on your natural nail. It usually lasts several weeks and should be removed by the nail tech ("הסרה", hasara), never peeled off.
מבנה אנטומי (mivne anatomi) — builder gel
A strengthening gel layer under the colour that evens out the nail and helps the polish last. Some price lists include it with gel polish, others charge it separately.
בנייה (bniya) — extensions
Lengthening or reinforcing the nail with gel, "טיפס הפוך" (tips hafuch, dual forms), acrylic or polygel. It takes longer, and the price often rises with length (S, M, L).
מילוי (milui) — fill
Once the nail has grown out, the tech fills the gap near the cuticle instead of starting over. Cheaper than a new set, as long as the extensions held up.
